Advent Calendar Blog Hop Day 13

Welcome to Day 13 of the Advent Calendar Blog Hop. To see the other days in the Advent Calendar please visit Jo at Serendipitous Stitching.
Jo asked us to share a picture of something festive that we had made. I haven't actually managed to stitch any new ornaments for this year, so in true Blue Peter fashion, here's one I made earlier:-

I did make this though - a kitschy mid-mod style wreath for the front door:-

Jo also asked us to share how we spend Boxing Day. Apart from eating left-over turkey (and doesn't everyone do that?), we mostly spend Boxing Day playing board games and watching TV, although if the weather is good and the tides are right we sometimes go for a walk on the beach.
David took this picture around Christmastime a couple of years ago. The tide is only this low once or twice a month so you can't always get this far along.

I love the simplicity and beauty of your deer stitching, Christina. And what a fun wreath... love the purple and blue, they remind me of hydrangeas :)

Just love the photo your husband too--you live in such a photographic part of the world :)

What a fantastic wreath haha. And a beautiful shot of the beach. It looks so quiet and pieceful, and remarkably like th beaches in the Pacific northwest.

What a lovely ornament, I like the trim along the bottom! It sounds like your Boxing Day is quiet and relaxing, just the way it should be! Have a Merry Christmas, and make some footprints in the sand for me, won't you? (That beach shot is GORGEOUS!!)

I could have sent you lots of pics of your ornaments, our tree this year only contains handstitched/made ornaments and is at least one third filled with yours! lol xx

I'm popping over on the blog hop. Thanks for sharing your beautiful ornament and your fantastic traditions. Love the beach photo. If I had a place like that to walk I definitely would be.
