Snow!

Yes, we have snow. Here you see the view down to the village, Eloise, Naomi and friends making the most of the weather, and the snow on my palm trees!
Notice how it even makes the repulsive pampas grass look pretty (Oh how I long to dig that up, but some people like it!)

The girls' school was closed, which was both good, because they got to play in the snow, and bad, because Eloise was supposed to have gone on a school trip to London for four days this morning and it was cancelled. Still waiting to see what happens about that as they said this morning that they might try and go tomorrow, but they've not been back in touch. Mind you, they didn't get in touch to say the'd cancelled it either, I had to ring them to find out...

Super pics, how nice to see the village. Shame about the school trip.
We dug our pampas grass up, the cat kept getting bits of it stuck down his throat and it was costing me a fortune at the vets to keep having it removed!

Great pictures. Was just about to e-mail to find out if you'd had much snow. We had to move our palm indoors at the beginning of january due to the outside temp dropping to minus 15°C.......

Cute snowman!

That is so typical of schools to just not let you know what is happening. I think looking at the weather it might get postponed until next week as even the buses stopped running in London yesterday.

our Pampas grass bit the dust years ago, took me quite a few goes before it actually gave up and died LOL
