Beach-combing Jewellery

Naomi and I went to a workshop yesterday on making jewellery from sea-found objects. It was great fun. Here are a few of the pretties I made. At last a use for the sea-glass mountain in the conservatory!

Also, just for fun, a cuddly skull I made today. I think we should probably call him Sir Skull, because he looks rather aristocratic

Beautiful, a friend has classes like that in her gallery on polkerris. I always love the sound of them.

Such lovely one-of-a-kind pieces! What a fun workshop!

Quite the dapper skull guy! "Cuddly" and "skull" so rarely go together in the same sentence!

What lovely jewellery.
If it wasn't for the 'tache I'd have called him a Slash Skull.

Pretty jewellery and what a good idea to use the beautiful stones, pebbles and cystals that the sea gives us.

Beautiful jewellery.
I don't think I'd have 'Sir Skull' hanging by my bedside - not if I want to sleep! :)

The sea glass jewellery is lovely and unique. It's always nice to be able to use some kind of stash or other.

Skulls are not really my thing, but I do like Sir Skull.
