Grow Your Blog Winner, Gifted Gorgeousness, and a Spot of Art

Thank you for all the kind comments on my Grow Your Blog post. There were 47 in all. Mr Random.org picked out a winner for me and that winner is Karin G (Gingko et Coquelicot).Karin, I've emailed you, could you please let me have your postal address.
Also, because it's the fifteenth of the month it must be time for Jo's Gifted Gorgeousness SAL
This month it's fallen nicely as it coincides with reveal day for the Needlecraft Haven Valentine Exchange. For this one we had to stitch a card and send a pair of socks and matching skein of thread.
I got this beautiful card and fab unicorn socks from my anonymous Valentine.

And this is the card I sent. The design is a free one from Appleseed Prim, and it is stitched using crescent Colours - Bing Cherry on an orphan piece of linen.

Finally, I'm feeling brave today so I thought I'd pop a spot of art work out there, dandelions in watercolour and ink.

Thanks for taking part in GG this month. Two lovely cards and a fab pair of socks too!

I like your dandelion artwork. Is there no end to your talents?

Eeek, look at those socks! They are too cute. I'm curious about the Ozark Sampler threads; are they a defunct dyer?

Great dandelion! I'd much rather see your artwork on them than my yard filled with 'em. :D

ha - you know, I visited you when you first posted this and IN MY HEAD I left you an AWESOME comment - except I forgot to actually TYPE it! Not the brightest bulb..... So - better late than never -

LOVE the unicorn socks! Who doesn't love unicorn socks?! AAAAAND - your dandelions are entirely fabulous. In my mind's eye I see this as an incredible fabric design! This is lovely - biased a little because dandelions are one of my favourite flowers, but even so - GORGEOUS! If you ever make this design into a cushion cover, let me know!

THAT was the comment in my head. Seriously - I sometimes wonder exactly what planet my brain lives on! Sending you hugs from Shroo:)xxx
