I Need To Work On My Timing

Here is the scarf I just finished knitting. It's a simple ripple lace pattern in knitted up in Sirdar Montana.
Why yes, I have finished it just in time for the weather to warm up. Thank you for noticing ;D
I have now started knitting a nice little lacy cotton bolero. I shall probably finish it round about the end of October!
This year my camellias have gone berserk, so I thought I'd share a snap of a few that I picked and brought indoors. They were already in the garden when we bought the house so I don't know what varieties they are but I have two kinds, a very big, blousey, frilly ballerina pink one, and a slightly smaller more elegant cerise one.

Your scarf is beautiful - love the rippled pattern. Very pretty flowers - ours have been in flower for some time now and thankfully we always have a lovely display of them each year.

You have warm weather? We lit the fire again this morning!

It is a very nice scarf though and not too heavy for Spring-wear.

Loving the colours in your scarf and just think when the first sign of winter appears you'll be ready with your new scarf while everyone else will be busy knitting theirs :-)
Beautiful blooms

You can wear it on those cool spring days...but then we don't want them do we? Your camellias are so gorgeous...wow.

I don't know, it was pretty chilly with a brisk wind down here in the south of England today, that scarf may still come in handy before next autumn! It is so beautiful, the colour and pattern go together perfectly! Chrissie x

Your sweater is beautiful and the flowers are so pretty. We are having very stormy weather tonight. The storms are popping up like nobody's business. I am trying to catch up with friends. Have a wonderful Mother's Day. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.

what a beautiful scarf! Just don't do what I did, I made a cowl last summer, so put it away for the winter... and forgot about it!

I have a knit scarf in progress. The co-ordinating hat is finished but I may not finish the scarf until October or maybe even later. I love your camellias. All of a sudden we have had a spell of high temperatures that blasted my daffodils. Now I am waiting for the iris.
