Snow in Spring

It is definitely spring here. Look I can prove it, here are my snowdrops and crocuses (crocii?). There are primroses out and the first daffs are already showing their colour, yesterday I even dug the infamous sack of you know what into the veg bed.
Despite all these harbingers of spring however, there was a little snowfall in my house a couple of days agao when this little chap landed on the doormat. Gaynor accidently found herself with two of these charts and was kind enough to offer one on her blog, and I was the lucky winner. She also included the cut of grey fabric and gorgeous threads shown. Thank you Gaynor, so far I have been good and resisted starting him as I have a couple of other things I must finish first, but who knows how long my will power will hold out...

Your sweet, little flowers are lovely. Ours are still under a foot of dirty snow.

Beautiful flowers. I notice my neighbours have daffs starting to bud already - mine are resolutely staying put under the ground though. LOL Very nice stash - look forward to seeing the end result. :0)

It's nice to see a few colourful flowers in the garden, we only have 1 snowdrop this year, bet that dratted squirrel has taken them away again!!

You are much farther into spring than we are from the looks of it. Enjoy!

Love your chart. What a great thing to win. It is such an adorable little chart and looks like it will be fun to stitch.

Hugs from Holland ~

Im back - or at least getting there slowly lol. Lovely to see the signs of spring in the garden and hear the birds singing in full voice again - maybe the sun will get warmer too soon.
