Hearts and shells

Happy Valentines day!

Its been (relatively) warm and sunny here today so in between football watching we've been beachcombing at Port Gaverne. Quite a good haul of shells, driftwood, sea glass and sea pottery, and some long spirals of what I suspect are actually rusty bedsprings, but which look very artistic and will no doubt be converted into something interesting at some indeterminate point in the future. Didn't take the camera today, but here is a link to some of David's shots of Port Gaverne

Port Gaverne looks like an amazing place to visit! I can't wait to see what you do with your rusty findings. I like rusty too. So fun that you also found shells, glass and pottery!

I envy you the views & the weather. Be interesting to see what you make with your finds. My friend has just made some dyed fabric by wrapping it around some rusty metal bits to use in her freestyle embroidery - it looks amazing. :0)

Love Davids Photos Christine there is something about the sun on the sea just breaking through the clouds. Lots of inspiration for your finds then look forward to seeing the results.
