Take Two

The Monthly Challenge, restitched, on pre-stained fabric, without the colour runs.
The chart is from Pineberry Lane and can be found here
Finished in a deliberately primitive style (I can do blanket stitch neater than that, honest), with tea stained lace, a twine bow and a rusty bell

Mind you, the final placement of one of the tea stains is a bit dubious

Rudolf!
I nearly trod in that! I ought to rub your stupid red nose in it!

  5. It's so much safer to stitch on pre.stained fabric. Your finishing is just gorgeous. I was doing this sewing on years ago and had forgotten about this way of finishing. I have to remember it when my finishing mojo comes back.

  10. You stitched again so quickly! It's looking very nice :) I guess even the earlier one was good, why can't tea spill on thread area and cause color bleed, why should it only stain the fabric area? I would have hung on to whatever happened with that excuse for stitching only once;)
You are a perfectionist!! No one will notice the dubious placement of stain until you mention.
