Its reveal day for the February Challenge on the Stitch and Stash forum. This month we stitched a Valentine design from Primitive Betty's . I stitched mine in Weeks Onyx and Lancaster Red, with metallic gold for the key motif, using a scrap of orphan linen and made it up into a little hanging pillow trimmed with a ribbon bow and a key charm. The album with the other finishes can be found here and is well worth a look.
Congratulations to Sally, and a lovely finish Christine!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Sally! And your finish is darling--love the little key and ribbon at the bottom :)
ReplyDeletecongrats to Sally , Christine like your little pillow and the key charm may I ask where you got it,I am always looking for old keys, charity shops ect do not seem to have them -so a charm may do .
ReplyDeleteOff now to have a look at the album.

Congrats to Sally.
ReplyDeleteBoo hoo... i missed entering with being away. Love your finish for this months challenge.
Nice way to raise some cash, we had a truck load delivered to the allotment a few weeks ago, DH was busy with the wheelbarrow and spade LOL
Christine: I LOVE the "Teacup of Destiny". The only reason I didn't enter was that I didn't want you to have to mail the prize overseas if I won. However, with the psychedelic fingers doing the draw I just might have to enter next time. Oh, and the valentine is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteKathryn : )

ReplyDeleteYour Valentine piece is simply gorgeous.I love the little key you added. Like Barb I'm curious to know where you got it from.
Hi Christine, I just discovered your blog, thanks to Sally. Your Valentine's pillow is so sweet - this one is on my list to stitch (one day). The little charm is a sweet addition to the pillow.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to visiting again soon.
Your Feb challenge is just great!
